Explanation:

The organization applied to change its fiscal year end from December to August. The year end change was approved by the IRS prior to the organization filing its 12/31/25 990-N therefore a short year 990-N filing is now being filed late. Due to the timing of the approval which was out of the organization's control, we believe this was reasonable cause for a late filing.
