What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Educate and advocate to Congress and the federal agencies on behalf of the Additive Manufacturing Community. We are a trade association designed to increase the knowledge base of Congress and the Federal Agencies regarding additive manufacturing in order to improve the quality of public policy related to additive manufacturing.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Organized 8 virtual forums to educate Members of Congress, Congressional staff, federal agency personnel, national labs, universities and industry members to increase the understanding of various aspects of additive manufacturing and relevant federal policy issues. Each session had between 100-120 participants.

29 Advocated to Congress and the federal agencies for increased funding for research, certification, validation and workforce development in support of additive manufacturing, as well as, for increased utilization of additive manufacturing products by reforming the federal procurement system to make it easier for small and medium sized companies to work directly for the Federal agencies. This includes direct engagement with the Congress and organizing an annual DC Legislative Fly In event to bring AM Coalition members to Washington to meet with Administration and Congressional policy makers.
