Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Provide programs that support veterans and their families patriotism support youth and our community. Promote the principles of the American Legion. We support Legion and local programs for veterans children the community and emphasize Americanism activities. We provide support to the American Legion and local groups and organizations involved with improving education health and development of youth.

	The All Veterans Honor Guard AVHG. Members of the Post AVHG performed more than 200 funeral services for veterans and their families at Fort Logan National Cemetery. They also provide support to local and national organizations that provide benefits to veterans. Revenue is the result of donations from families for whom Honor Burial Services were provided.

	Assist the youth and community through sponsored American Legion Programs including Boys State Oratorical Contest scholarships 3. Participate in community events on Memorial Day 2 Veterans Day Littleton Western Welcome Week Parade Fourth of July Parade. Support local organizations including Boy Scouts Toys for Tots Muscular Distrophy Association and veterans support groups. Through the National organization the Post supports the National Welfare Association the Child Welfare Association the National Emergency Fund and the Child Wellbeing Fund. Provide three one-year scholarships to local students or relatives of veterans.

The Post Veteran Service Officer PVSO working with Volunteers for Hospitalized Veterans V4HV located at the Colorado Veterans Hospital in Aurora CO identifies needs of hospitalized veterans and their families as well as Littleton area veterans needing assistance. Upon validation of need the PVSO prepares checks using Post funds and delivers to third-party recipients owed funds by the veteran. Food or transportation debit cards are provided directly to veterans in need. Support American Legion programs providing assistance to Legion members and other veterans and their families locally and nationally
